Enrolment Information for Orewa College
1. Steps to Apply
Before submitting an application, the legal caregiver and child must review the following:

If you would like to enrol your student in the Rumaki Reo Māori programme, please complete an enrolment form as a domestic student and indicate your interest on the form.
2. Out of Zone Applications
Applications from students living outside the Orewa College zone will be balloted based on these priorities:
- Priority 1: Special Programmes: Year 7 & 8 Rūmaki Programme
- Priority 2: Siblings of current students
- Priority 3: Siblings of former students
- Priority 4: Children of former students
- Priority 5: Children of employees
- Priority 6: All other applicants
Out of Zone application closing date – Wednesday 27 August 2025
Ballot date – Wednesday 3 September 2025.

3. Next Steps After Application Submission
If your application is successful and all required documents are provided, the legal caregiver and child will be invited to an enrolment interview.
4. ESOL and Additional Requirements
If your child requires ESOL (English as a Second Language), please submit the ESOL Form.
To provide full health details for the school nurse, complete the Health Form.
