Key dates for students and caregivers preparing to enrol at Orewa College

| Tuesday 4 August, 5:30PM Orewa College Staffroom | Whānau Hui | Learn about Māori-medium education and the revitalisation of te reo Māori. Kaiako Māori will share details about Taipari, our Rumaki Reo Māori programme and answer questions about our Māori pathway. |
| Tuesday 18 August | Open Evening | Meet homeroom teachers, Heads of Department, Deans for Years 7 and 8, and senior staff. Learn about curriculum, academics, extracurricular opportunities, sport, performing arts, and the House programme. |
| Tuesday 25 August Wednesday 26 August | School Tours | Students new in 2027 and their caregivers can register for a tour via the website closer to the time. Students from contributing schools Ahutoetoe, Dairy Flat, Nukumea, Orewa, Orewa Beach, Red Beach and Silverdale will attend a school-based tour and information day in early August. |
| Wednesday 2 September | Out of Zone | Term 3, Week 7 Closing date for out of zone enrolments |
| Wednesday 9 September | Ballot date | Term 3, Week 8 All out of zone applicants will be notified by email by 3.00pm. |
| Tuesday 15 September | Enrolment Interview Evening | Term 3, Week 9 Interviews are scheduled after the application is complete. Time: 3.45pm to 7.00pm. |
| Friday 6 November | Enrolment Interview Day | Term 4, Week 5 Final opportunity for an interview before the end of the school year. Interviews are scheduled after the application is complete. Time: 9.30am to 12.00pm. |
