We’re revisiting a proud moment for Orewa College through the powerful images captured by Nina G Photography at the Hip Hop International New Zealand Championships.

On Wednesday 23 April in Mount Eden, our OsmiC Mega Crew made their debut at this prestigious event, earning second place in the Mega-Schools Division, a first for our kura.

Formed in Term 4 last year, the crew of 23 students trained twice weekly under the guidance of Crew Manager Keighley Woodroffe, Choreographer Travis Lightband, and support from Gail Boshard.

These photographs capture more than just movement. They showcase the dedication, energy and unity of our students on a national stage.
