Year 12–13 students sold their products at the Orewa College Trade Fair, Wednesday 18 June.
“We made it ourselves, thanks for checking it out!”
Orewa College’s senior Business Studies students turned ideas into action with their very own pop-up market.
As part of their assessment, Year 12 and 13 ākonga ran small businesses, creating, branding, and producing products to sell. Their efforts all came together at the in-school Trade Fair on Wednesday 18 June, from 3.15pm to 5pm.
There were stalls with handmade items, gifts, treats and more, and every sale counted towards their learning. Students, staff, whānau and community members all came along to support our young entrepreneurs.
Many of the teams planned to sell again at the Orewa Artizan Market on Sunday 29 June outside the Orewa Community Hall.
