Orewa College’s Year 7 netball teams played in a local fundraising for the AIMS tournament at Kingsway School.

Friendly rivalry and community spirit on the court

Orewa College’s Year 7/1 and 7/2 netball teams recently joined a special one-day fundraiser for the AIMS tournament hosted by Kingsway School, all in support of a great local cause.

The fundraiser brought together teams from across the community for a full day of netball. Both Orewa teams made the most of the experience, showing great sportsmanship and teamwork throughout.

A standout moment came when the 7/1 and 7/2 teams went head-to-head in a friendly match. It was a close and exciting game, but 7/1 came out on top. The real win, though, was seeing our ākonga enjoying the game and supporting each other.
