Orewa College announces its 2026 student leaders, including four Head Manukura and a team across key areas of school life.

Head students and manukura announced for the year ahead

Orewa College is proud to introduce our 2026 Manukura, a group of student leaders chosen to serve and represent our kura across the year.

Our Head Manukura for 2026 are Lizzy Blanchard, Bo Falealii, Biel Valoria, and Mitchell Smith. These four will lead the student body alongside a wider team of manukura representing different parts of school life.

This year’s manukura team includes:

• Asmi Goyal and Caleb McCaulay (Community)

• Hollie Johnson and Eve Auld (House)

• Libby Stefek and Bella Browne Hale (Sport)

• Santhiya Vasanth and Daniel Clement (Global Citizen)

• Micah Taiapa and Faith Smith (Mana Tangata)

• Alyssa Sou and Cayden Young (Performing Arts)

• Abby Birks and Alex Bakshov (Academic)

These ākonga were selected for their commitment, character, and ability to embody our value of manaaki. They now step into leadership roles that will see them grow, inspire others, and help shape the culture of Orewa College.
