Year 13 Tradie Day Celebrated Countdown to Graduation

The class of 2025 marked their final weeks with a lively Tradie Day, dressing up to represent their future careers.

Students dressed for their future with high-vis, hard hats and good humour

In the lead-up to graduation, Year 13 ākonga at Orewa College took part in a "Tradie Day", dressing as future tradespeople in high-vis vests, tool belts and hard hats. The event was a chance to celebrate their final weeks with fluorescent colour and a cheeky nod to the careers many hope to pursue.

Held during interval and lunch, the Class of 2025 embraced roles from builders and electricians to plumbers and mechanics. The day offered a light-hearted way to reflect on the future ahead.

Tradie Day was part of a wider programme of celebrations for the Class of 2025, recognising the journey of each student and the paths they are preparing to take.
