Strong solo hip hop performance at Gold Coast event confirms readiness for World Championships

The Evolution National Finals were held at the Royal Pine Hotel on the Gold Coast, where Skyler Olivier placed second in the Solo Hip Hop division.

Competing in front of an international audience and celebrity judges, Skyler’s result reflects daily preparation and dedicated practice leading into the event. The achievement has confirmed she is ready for the World Championships taking place in July 2026 in Las Vegas.

Skyler travelled to Australia with her mother, Chantel Olivier, for the week of competition. While the focus was on performance, there was also time to enjoy the experience, including visits to Dream World, Wet and Wild, Gold Coast City and Sky Point.

A highlight of the trip was meeting dance world celebrities Gianna Martello and Natalie Minns from the United States.

This result provides valuable international stage experience ahead of July’s World Championships.
